Hyannis, MA
2013 Eastern Sectional Figure Skating Championships
Hyannis, Massachusetts hosted the Eastern Sectional Figure Skating Championships during the 2012-13 season. SCNY member Samantha Cesario won senior ladies’ gold. Fellow SCNY member Joelle Forte won senior ladies’ pewter. Senior pair Felicia Zhang (SCNY) and Nathan Bartholomay (SW Florida FSC) won silver, and Grant Hochstein won pewter in senior men.
At the junior level, SCNY swept the event, winning gold (Jay Yostanto), silver (Jimmy Ma), and bronze (James Schetelich). Fellow SCNY member
Olivia Serafini won bronze in junior ladies.
SCNY also won two intermediate awards — a gold medal in intermediate pairs (Darbie Burke and Griffin Schwab), and a silver in intermediate ladies (Emmy Ma). Jessica Guo and Davis Tong won pewter in juvenile pairs.
2018 National Solo Dance
SCNY member Ilana Sedaka won gold in senior combined dance and bronze in international pattern dance. Adrienne Carhart and Chiara Tan won gold and silver, respectively, in both novice combined dance and silver pattern dance.
2013 National Showcase
The Sky Rink All Stars won bronze for their production ensemble of “Cirque du Patinage” and Ilana Sedaka won silver in juvenile EI.
2014 US Adult Figure Skating Championships
Hyannis, MA hosted the US Adult Figure Skating Championships iin 2014. Gold medals were won by Lisa Davies in Ladies Silver II, Bridie Myles in Gold Solo Dance, and Amy Engeler and Robert Engle in Adult Gold Dance. Amy and Robert also won pewter in Championship Dance.
Additional medals were won by Marni Halasa (silver in Masters Light Entertainment), Anna Drozda (bronze in Ladies Silver I), and Mark Stanford (and Jan Calnan) (pewter in Championship Pairs).
