Virtual Test Session Information
SCNY will offer virtual test sessions with video submission.
Associate Members and Guests are accommodated if space permits.
Information for Parents, Skaters, Coaches and Videographers:
- Apply for a test session through EntryEeze by the application deadline.
- It is your responsibility to read USFS Rule 4104 and the Virtual Testing Video Requirements in advance to be sure all regulations are being followed. Note that videos must be recorded no more than 14 days before the submission deadline and may only be submitted one time.
- Skaters must hold up a placard at the beginning of their test video. You must still show a mobile device with the date and the time of the beginning of the video. Also still state your name, test you are taking and home club.
- Skaters must submit an affidavit and a Name and Likeness Release and Consent Agreement (Release) when they submit their video to the test chair. Make sure to bring a blank affidavit with you when you video the test.
- Follow the instructions on EntryEeze in the Video Upload and Sharing document to upload your video, affidavit and Release into one "folder". After you upload it, re-check the orientation and the size of the video.
- Email a link to the folder to the Test Chair at scny.test.chair@gmail.com. Please do this as soon as possible, but no later than the video submission deadline.
- Do not text, email or air-drop the video at any point in the process or it will condense the video and will be rejected by the judges. A refund will not be given.
- The results will be emailed to you and your coach in two weeks of the video submission deadline.
