Site of the 2004 and 1980 US Figure Skating Championships
Johnny Weir won his first US Senior Men’s title at the 2004 US Figure Skating Championships. That same year, Morgan Matthews and Maxim Zavozin won the Junior Ice Dancing title and Melissa Gregory and Denis Petukhov won silver in Senior Dance.
SCNY member Elaine Zayak won Senior Ladies’ pewter at Nationals in 1980, her first year competing as a senior. The previous yeat, she won the World Figure Skating Junior Ladies’ title.

Two-time US champions Rocky Marval (and Calla Urbanski) placed fourth in Senior Pairs. The won the event in 1991 (Oakland, CA).
