The twentieth annual U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships concluded Saturday, April 12th in Hyannis, Massachusetts. Twelve skaters qualified from the Skating Club of New York, winning a total of 3 gold medals, a silver, a bronze and 2 pewter.

Due to necessary repairs to one of the rinks at Sport-O-Rama, we have had to cancel the 2014 SCNY Solo Dance Competition. We hope to see you in 2015.
The Skyliners returned Sunday from the 2014 US Synchronized Skating Championships in Colorado Springs with a juvenile line national title and a bronze medal in novice. The senior, junior and intermediate teams placed fifth, sixth and sixth, respectively. Gotham City Synchro also competed, placing eighth in the masters division.

The Skating Club of New York capped off its 150 Years of Skating in New York celebration with a grand raffle drawing Sunday morning, February 9th at beautiful Wollman Rink. Members of the Elite and Junior Academy helped us spin the bingo cage and call out winners -- twenty-nine lucky skaters in all! Each prize was donated, so 100 percent of the proceeds from each raffle, net PayPal commission, will help finance SCNY member activities, including US Figure Skating test sessions, club ice sessions, skating scholarships, and competitions. The Skating Club of New York is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charity incorporated in New York and is grateful for your generosity.
