U.S. Figure Skating Skate Safe Program |
---|
The Skating Club of New York complies with and endorses the U.S. Figure Skating Skate Safe program, which strives to provide a safe environment for its members that is free of abuse and harassment. |
U.S. Figure Skating maintains a library of resources at http://www.usfsa.org/shell.asp?sid=49066 describing the Skate Safe program. We encourage SCNY members to review their rights and responsibilities under the Skate Safe program and be vigilant about watching for and reporting signs of possible abuse, bullying and harassment. |
We encourage you to contact Karen Terry Perrault, the Skating Club of New York’s Skate Safe Compliance Officer and head of Skate Safe for U.S. Figure Skating, about any matters or concerns relating to the Skate Safe program, including suspected violations. We will endeavor to respond quickly and discreetly. Remember, the success of the Skate Safe program depends on you, our members. |
The Skating Club of New York's mission is to provide programs to encourage participation and achievement in the sport of figure skating, to conduct figure skating tests as prescribed by US Figure Skating and to organize and sponsor competitions, exhibitions and clinics. The Skating Club of New York is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit amateur athletic organization and all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
