You are invited to join us as we continue our tradition of kicking off the skating season by cheering on some of our skaters who will be competing at Regionals and Sectionals at SCNY's brunch and exhibition! |
Juvenile and above skaters who are going to Regionals or Sectionals can sign up to skate their competitive programs at the Exhibition, but space is limited. There is no charge to participate. If you would like to participate, please e-mail us at mail@thescny.org by Thursday, October 3rd and give us the following information: name, skating level, program length, phone number and coach's name. As usual, first come, first served. We will let you know on October 9th if you are on the schedule. |
If you are not skating at Regionals, please come to the the exhibition and come for Brunch FOR FREE on the back deck. Help send your friends off in style. It will be lots of fun and it is a great way to start the season. |

Haven and Brandon are the 2017 US Senior Pairs national champions, 2019 and 2015 silver medalists and 2012 US Junior Pairs champions. They won silver at Skate America in 2015 and 2016 and bronze at the CS Autumn Classic in 2018. They placed fourth in senior pairs at Skate Canada (2016) , US International Classic (2017), CS Golden Sin of Zagreb (2016), and CS Ondrej Nepela (2016). Haven joined SCNY in 2016 from the Broadmoor SC. |

The Skating Club of New York hosts the 94th Middle Atlantic Figure Skating Championships September 5-8, 2019 at Sky Rink. It is the longest continuously-run figure skating competition in North America, older even than Nationals. It is also one of the largest and most popular competitions in the nation, with events spanning two rinks for four full days. It draws skaters and officials from all over the world and has been a proving ground for dozens of eventual national and international champions. |

Step One |
Entries will only be accepted online via EMS at www.usfsaonline.org. Make sure you register your NQS events in EMS. This is a mandatory step. If you do not register in EMS, you are not registered for the NQS events at Mids regardless or whether or not you are participating in the series. A skater does not have to be part of NQS to compete at Mid-Atlantics but you must register first through EMS. |

Entries for all 6.0 events will be processed through Entryeeze. To register online, go to Entryeeze
Space is limited for many events/levels. Skaters will be accommodated in date order. SCNY reserves the right to place skaters on a wait list once the max number of skaters has been reached for an event.
15 minute practice ice sessions for Juvenile through Senior level skaters for both the short and free programs will be available for purchase on Entryeeze when the schedule is posted. Additional practice ice for all levels may be purchased through Sky Rink.
Mids is a USFS 2019 Icemen designated competition. All male skaters who are registered members of the Icemen program are invited to attend the Icemen social event held in conjunction with the competition. The details will be available when the schedule is published.
The Skating Club of New York's mission is to provide programs to encourage participation and achievement in the sport of figure skating, to conduct figure skating tests as prescribed by US Figure Skating and to organize and sponsor competitions, exhibitions and clinics. The Skating Club of New York is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit amateur athletic organization and all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
