Wollman Open competitors: Don’t forget your photos!
Action shots are perfect for your yearbook ad. Be sure to check out your photos at the Vision Photo website and Video booth!

Step LET'S GET STARTED!!

Step 1

1

Reserve a half page, full page or several pages.

Sorry, but we are no longer acccepting orders.

Order extra copies for your friends and family.

Your first copy of the yearbook is FREE and will be available from the skating director at your home rink on or around May 22nd, the date of the SCNY year-end barbecue and exhibition at Sky Rink. Extra copies are $15 apiece.

Do not proceed to Step 2 until you have completed this step (reserving space in the yearbook). We will disregard all submissions without a valid order confirmation number.

Step 2

2

Design your page.

Please refer to the confirmation email you received when you placed an order for space in the yearbook in Step 1. The Order Number is at the top of the confirmation. You will need to enter it to proceed to the next section.

If you choose to edit a template on-line, you will need to complete and submit this form for each of the pages or half pages your ordered. Please tell us in the Layout Instructions field below how you would like these pages arranged, e.g., side-by-side, and whether this form is the "first of two", "second of two", "third of five", etc.

If you choose to upload yearbook pages you prepared off-line, you may upload them simultaneously.

The advantage of downloading and modifying a template in Word is that you can change virtually everything - fonts, backgrounds, colors, even layouts -provided you adhere to the required page dimensions (5x8" portrait for full-page and 5x3¾" landscape for half-page articles), and know how to print to PDF. We will not accept Word uploads.

The advantage of substituting text and images on-line is simplicity. Subsitute photo(s) and text on-line and you're done.

Make your selection with the dropdown. Clicking on one of the thumbnails will just enlarge the image in a pop-up window. Only the dropdown will record your selection.

Now let's change the image(s). Click the Next button below to proceed.

PDF files must be 300 dpi and match the dimensions of the page or half-page. JPG image files must have the same width-to-height ratio as the purchased page or half page, and must measure at least 1,024 pixels along the 5-inch side, preferably more.

Because the publication deadline is days away, we cannot send you advance galleys or proofs. Please follow the document specifications carefully.

Examine your photo(s) carefully before clicking Upload. If the template photo is landscape, your photo should also be landscape. If the photo is square or portrait, yours should also be square or portrait. Do not entrust photo cropping to us.

Also, make sure the uploaded photo is high-resolution, at least 1024 pixels on its 5-inch side.

Because the deadline for publication is days away, we cannot send you advance galleys or proofs. Please follow the photo specifications carefully.

Try to approximate the length of text in the template. We will re-size fonts within reason to fit whatever you submit, but we don't have time to send you galleys or proofs before publication.

Background images must be at least 1,024 pixels along the 5-inch side. Do not upload copyrighted images unless you are expressly authorized to use them.

This is where you can request a different font, provided you know its name and it is widely available. This is also where you can ask us to substitute a font or background from one of the other templates, provided your instructions are clear.

Remember that we will not be issuing advance galleys or proofs, so please be as clear, succinct and reasonable as possible.

We reserve the right to reject any submission that is negative, inflammatory, offensive or adverse to the yearbook's main purpose: celebrating our club's skaters, teams, coaches, officials and supporters.

All yearbook purchases and article submissions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
